In Loving Memory of Warren Levar Landry
Concerning those who are asleep, sorrow not as those who have no hope. For if we believe
Jesus died and rose again, then those which sleep in Jesus will return with Him.
1Thessalonians 4:13-14
Warren Levar Landry was born in Madera, California on November 14, 1980, to Warren
Joseph Landry and Emma Jewell [McMillon] Woodford. God called Warren into eternal rest
on April 10, 2025.
Warren graduated from Frederick Douglas High School in Oklahoma City, OK. He received
his certifications as a CNA/CMA with expanded skills and knowledge in the Nursing Field.
He furthered his education by graduating as a Certified/Licensed Master Barber and
Cosmetologist from the Atlanta Technology Institute.
Warren's additional accomplishments include many years in the Food Industry
(Manager/Caterer); in Barbering & Cosmetology (Stylist /Makeup Artist); in the Fashion
Industry (Model); in Daytime Television; and, in the Music Industry (Singer/Song Writer)it .
Warren also added to his credit several close-win appearances on American Idol. In
everything he did, Warren did it with excellence and with his whole heart.
Warren was preceded in death by Warren Joseph Landry (Father); Georgia Lee McMillon
(Grandmother); Joyce Marie [McMillon] Kyle (Aunt); Robert Lee McMillon and Earnest Gene
McMillon (Uncles); and, Kalon Bolden (Cousin).
Warren leaves to cherish his precious memory Emma Jewell [McMillon] Woodford (Mother;
Kathryn Ann [McMillon] DeWitt, Lillie McMillon and Marsha [McMillon] Brewer (Aunts);
James Earl Busby of Oklahoma City (Uncle); Wilhelmina Fryer (Great Aunt); and, a host of
family, extended family, and long-time friends.
Warren Levar Landry beloved son, nephew, cousin, friend, confidant, and so much more.
He was highly loved and admired across the nation, even as far as Canada. He will never
be forgotten... and he will be UBER missed by a multitude.
My sincere love and gratitude to Fresno Hospice and Covenant Post Acute Nursing Center
for their optimum care and tenderness for Warren.
