Obituary

Tommy Gutierrez Jr., 54, of Madera, California, passed away on January 20th, leaving behind a legacy of loyalty, hard work, and quiet generosity.

Tommy was preceded in death by his firstborn son, Thomas Ruben Gutierrez, whom he loved deeply and missed every day. Their bond was unbreakable, and the thought of their reunion brings comfort to those who knew how much his children meant to him.

He is survived by his father Tommy Gutierrez SR, his youngest son Dominic Gutierrez, and by his brothers Zackary, Andy, Frank, Paul and Justin Gutierrez, all of Madera. Family was the center of Tommy's world, and he carried his love for them in everything he did.

A proud and lifelong Raiders fan, Tommy brought that same passion to baseball and the softball field, where he loved watching the game and coaching young players, like his niece Faith Gutierrez He had a gift for connecting with people—friends, neighbors, and strangers alike. Those who knew him remember his kindness, his humor, and his instinct to help anyone who was struggling or in need.

Tommy worked for many years as a butcher, a trade that shaped his reputation for precision and dedication. Later, he built a second career as a pest control technician, where he was known for his reliability, strong work ethic, and the pride he took in doing every job the right way.

Above all, Tommy was a man with a big heart—steady, loyal, and always willing to lend a hand. His presence will be deeply missed by his family, his many friends, and the community that knew him.
