Es con profundo dolor y tristeza que anunciamos la muerte de Socorro Gutierrez de Fresno, California quien murio el dia 2 de Enero de 2025 a la edad de 92 anos.

Socorro residio en el Condado de Madera y Fresno desde 1974.  Fue muy querida y apreciada por muchas personas que la conocieron.  Le gustaba viajar, vicitar familiars y amigo y atender su Jardin.  Era un orgullo para ella cultivar y compartir hermosas rosas con familiars y amigos.  Fue una muy querida madre, abuela, bisabuela, y tatarabuela.

Fue precedida en la muerte por sus padres Jose Maria Victoria y Concepcion Mendoza.  Tambien su hija Maria Guadalupe Gutierrez y su hijo Luis V. Gutierrez.  Le sobreviven sus hijos, Edelmira Castro de Madera, Miguel Gutierrez de Madera, Maria G. Castro de Fresno, Juan Manuel Gutierrez de Fresno, Maria J. Gutierrez de Fresno, Elsa Lara de Fresno, y Rigoberto Gutierrez de Fresno.  Sus nietos, Sylvia Rosel, Luis M. Gutierrez, Alma P. Bustos, Armando Gutierrez, Cesar Castro, Erica Castro, Maira Castro, Miguel A. Gutierrez, Monica L. Ovalle, Jesse Castro, Denise Castro, Joe Anthony Perez, Brianna Lara, Sieanna Lara, Vanessa Mae, 25 bisnietos y un tataranieto.

It is with deep sorrow and sadness that we announce the death of Socorro Gutierrez of Fresno, California who passed away on January 2, 2025 at the age of 92.

Socorro resided in Madera and Fresno County since 1974. She was much loved and appreciated by many who knew her. She enjoyed traveling, visiting family and friends, and tending to her garden.

She took pride in growing and sharing her beautiful roses with family and friends. She was a beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great-grandmother.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Jose Maria Victoria and Concepcion Mendoza. Also her daughter, Maria Guadalupe Gutierrez and her son, Luis V. Gutierrez. She is survived by her children, Edelmira Castro of Madera, Miguel Gutierrez of Madera, Maria G. Castro of Fresno, Juan Manuel Gutierrez of Fresno, Maria J. Gutierrez of Fresno, Elsa Lara of Fresno, and Rigoberto Gutierrez of Fresno. Her grandchildren, Sylvia Rosel, Luis M. Gutierrez, Alma P. Bustos, Armando Gutierrez, Cesar Castro, Erica Castro, Maira Castro, Miguel A. Gutierrez, Monica L. Ovalle, Jesse Castro, Denise Castro, Joe Anthony Perez, Brianna Lara, Sieanna Lara, Vanessa Mae, 25 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
