Maria Carmen Ascencio De Talavera was born March 9, 1953 in Patzcuaro Michoacán to Samuel Ascencio and Maria Morales. She passed on June 15, 2024 in Fresno California. Maria is preceded in death by her husband of 50 years Nepali Talavera, and it's survived by her children Sandra Talavera, Victor Talavera, Bernardo Talavera, Lucia Talavera, and Tania Martin. Along with 10 grandchildren.
Maria spend her early years helping her grandmother cook and assisted her with her flower shop. She grew up with 2 other sisters Maria de Los Angeles and Maria Isabel. Married the love of her life and had 5 children. She was a great mother and wife who always offered her help and wisdom. She enjoyed gardening, cooking, and music. Her favorite thing to do was to be surrounded by her family and spending time together. She will be greatly missed and her love and teachings will forever live with us. It was an incredible honor to be loved by her and we are extremely grateful to have had her be our Mother.
