With heavy heart, we announce the death of Luis Gutierrez of Fresno, California, who passed away
peacefully in his home on October 6, 2022 at the age of 95.
Luis was a long time resident of Fresno and was loved and cherished by many. He was predeceased by
his parents, Gabriel Gutierrez and Maria Valencia, his daughter Guadalupe Gutierrez, his son Luis V.
Gutierrez.
He is survived by his wife, Socorro Gutierrez, of over 75 years. His children; Edelmira Castro of Madera,
Miguel Gutierrez of Madera, Maria Guadalupe of Fresno, Manuel Gutierrez of Fresno, Maria Perez of
Fresno, Elsa Lara of Fresno, and Rigoberto Gutierrez of Fresno; his grandchildren, Sylvia Rosel, Luis M.
Gutierrez, Alma P. Gutierrez, Armando Gutierrez, Cesar Castro, Erica Castro, Maira Castro, Miguel
Gutierrez, Monica Ovalle, Jesse Castro, Denise Castro, Joe Anthony Perez, Brianna Lara, Sieanna Lara,
Vanessa Mae and 23 great grandchildren.
