Longina "Gina" Ida Gonzalez, born January 19, 1953, in Fresno, CA, was peacefully called to heaven on March 4, 2025, in Madera, CA, surrounded by the love of her family and their warmth.

Gina was the beloved wife of Baldemar Gonzalez, with whom she shared a loving and devoted marriage for 51 years. She was a proud mother to her three children: daughter Valarie Quintero (spouse, Jose "Peaches" Quintero), son Baltimore Gonzalez, and daughter Haley Gonzalez (spouse, Luis Garcia). Gina's legacy lives on in her grandchildren Lindsay, Joshua, Brody, Lexis, and great-granddaughter Sunni.

Gina's life was one marked by selflessness, love, and laughter. A longtime homemaker and a retired retail clerk, she was known for her nurturing nature and unwavering support for her family. She took great pride in her role as a mother and grandmother, always making sure her family felt cared for, loved, and cherished.

Gina had a true passion for sewing and could always be found with a project in hand. She also enjoyed spending her time working on crossword puzzles, playing Candy Crush, and watching Hallmark movies—simple joys that brought her peace and comfort. Above all, Gina's kindness, big heart, and generous spirit made her a cherished presence in the lives of those who knew her. Her journey on this earth was filled with kindness, laughter, and grace, and now she shines brightly among the stars, forever watching over us.

A celebration of Gina's life will be held on Friday, March 28, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. at All Faith's Funeral Home 801 E. Yosemite Ave. in Madera, CA. A Catholic rosary will follow the visitation at 11:30 a.m. A memorial reception will take place afterward from 2 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the Elk's Lodge located at 112 W. Sixth St. in Madera, CA.

Gina's memory will live on in the hearts of her family, friends, and all those who had the privilege of knowing her, we will miss you Big Mama.
