Linda Winther was born on June 26, 1948 in Glendale, California. She obtained a Bachelor of Science Degree in nursing and passed her state board examines to become a registered nurse as a newlywed in 1975.

She celebrated her first anniversary with Dale Winther and the entire nation on July 4, 1976; America's 200th anniversary. It was a fireworks extravaganza!

Linda gave birth to Jennifer that November and Jeffrey in 1978. She practiced nursing for forty years. Linda took a break while living in Holland with Dale and the kids for two years.

She truly enjoyed her time in Europe as she traveled with the family to several countries. After returning to America, the family moved to Blacksburg Virginia to experience life in the southeast. Linda practiced nursing there for a while before returning to California.

Her life was a series of adventures and she enjoyed a loving family life with a forty-five year happy marriage, two children, nine grandchildren and a great grandson.

A hallmark of Linda's personality was her limitless generosity. She always bent over backwards to help people and shunned praise from others. She made sure not to hurt people's feelings and always downplayed negative situations.

Linda passed peacefully in her sleep, at home, during the early hours of July 25, 2020. She will be truly missed by all the knew her.
