Jose Refugio Martinez Valerio, 81, passed to be with his Lord and Savior on June 1, 2024. He was surrounded by his loved ones.

He is survived by his wife, Ramona Martinez. His six children, Lidia Martinez, Julio Martinez, Luis Martinez, Gabriel Martinez, Anna Martinez and Raquel Martinez. Ten grandchildren, Giovanni Martinez, Brenda Cervantes, Daniel Martinez, Issac Martinez, Joel Cervantes, Sydney Martinez Elizalde, Andrew Martinez, Isaiah Garcia, Adelyn Serrano and Eli Garcia, and 11 Great Grandchildren.

Jose was born in Venado, San Luis Potosi on July 4, 1942. Jose's later years were dedicated to serving God. Jose Martinez Served as a pastor in Madera, CA.  He never missed the chance to spread the plan of salvation. Leading many to God and to serve those in need.
