John Ray Esqueda, 90, was born on July 22, 1932. He joined his wife Mary Esqueda, in heaven on November 14, 2022. John was a Madera resident, Army Veteran and long-time business owner of "Ray's Cocina" and "Ray's Barber shop". His memory will be carried on by his family and friends. Ray was a son, brother, uncle, husband of 65 years, a father, grandfather and great grandfather. He loved making jokes, eating sweets, dancing, hunting and rooting for his favorite team, the San Francisco 49ers. Visitation will be held at All Faiths Funeral Home in Madera on Thursday December 1st 4:00pm-6:00pm followed by a Rosary 6:00pm-7:00pm. A Mass will be held at Saint Joachims Catholic Church on Friday December 2nd at 10:00am.
