John Robert Bentley , 77, of Fresno, California, passed away on December 17, 2020.  He was born January 10, 1943 in Ft. Smith, Arkansas to Leo Verne Bentley and Vivian Bentley .  He was preceded in death by his parents and by his brothers, Leo George and Joe Neal, and by his sister, LaVerne Boone. John is survived by his son Robert W. Bentley and his wife Jamie (Tulsa); his son John Randall Bentley (Edmond), his grandchildren Emily Bentley , Christopher Bentley , and Conner Bentley ; as well as many nieces, nephews, family and friends. A private family service is being planned for the San Joaquin Valley National Cemetery in Santa Nella, California.
