Javier, 54 Years old passed away peacefully on October 5th, 2021 at Madera Community Hospital. He leaves his four sons, Javier Bocanegra Jr., Martin Bocanegra, Nicholas Bocanegra, and Deon Talavera, and grandson Logan, and several siblings; Jose Bocanegra, Angelica Bocanegra, Ernesto Bocanegra, Beatriz Bocanegra, Sonia Parra, Martin Bocanegra, Veronica Bocanegra, and Florinda Honesto, will all miss him dearly. He was preceeded in death by his parents Damasio Bocanegra and Maria Elodia Bocanegra as well as his grandparents. Javier will also be greatly missed by all of his cousins, in-laws, nephews, neices and many friends. Javier was born and raised in San Jose, California. He graduated from Santa Teresa High School. Javier had a positive attitude, great sense of humor and the utmost respect towards others. He enjoyed fishing, wood working, gardening, and watching movies and education documentaries. He helped many people throughout his life by taking the time to listen to them. He will be dearly missed by all that knew him. Special gratitude is extended to the ICU staff at Madera Community Hospital and the staff at All Faiths Funeral Home for their attentiveness and loving care to Javier and his family.
