Janie Campa Solis, 73, went to her heavenly home on Thursday, December 21, 2023. She was a beloved mother, sister, and aunt. Janie battled breast cancer but remained optimistic about God's plan by living her life to the fullest and never letting cancer win. Janie passed away at home surrounded and supported by her loving family and friends. Janie was born in Mexico but has been in California since 1980. Janie was a faithful woman who loved the Lord, her family, and her church. Janie worked for the County of Madera for 19 years, retiring early to care for her grandchildren.
Janie is preceded in death by her husband Joel, her sister Socorro, and granddaughter Miracle. She leaves behind her children Meliton (Melisa) Solis, Ismael (Jerilyn) Solis, Yolanda (Robert) Fall, Cornelia Solis, and Victoria (Robert) Gonzales. Besides her children, Janie is survived by her grandchildren Isabelle (age 20) Aubrie (age 19) Averie (age 18) Jacob Jr. (age 17) Elijah (age 14) Xzavier (age 13) Reily (age 12) Jazlyn (age 12) Mateo (age 11) Ryan (age 10) David (age 10) Alaina (age 8) Max (age 6) Eddie (age 5) Roman (age 2) and Daniel (age 11 mos) her sisters Lupe, Alicia, Carol, her brothers George, Oscar, Jesse, and several nieces and nephews. Viewings will be held at Central Valley Church on Monday, January 8th  from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. The funeral will be held from 12:30 pm to 1:30 pm. Burial services will be at Calvary Cemetery at 2 p.m.
