Edward Baca Jr. peacefully passed away with his family at his bedside on December 29, 2023 at the age
of 64, in Madera, California.

Edward was born on July 28, 1959 in Fresno, California. He is survived by his loving parents Sarah and
Edward Baca Sr. his children Edward Baca III, Nicole Baca, granddaughter Yehloe Bautista, sister,
brother-in-law Rebecca and Kurt Stoetzl, sister, brother-in-law Priscilla and Cesario Gonzalez, sister-in-
law and brother Celia and Michael Baca, nieces Valarie, Savanna, Sierra, nephews David, Aaron, Adam,
Bryce, cousins Jude, Jerry who grew up as brothers along with all cousins.

Edward attended Easton Arcola Elementary School and later graduated from Madera High School. He
attended Madera Community College where he earned Associates Degree in Criminology. Edward was
proud to make the dean's list. He worked at Truss Com. companies as the Lead Sawyer from 1982 to
1999. Edward served as a Supervisor at Friction Brake Inc. from 2000 to 2012. His life's passions
centered around fishing and world history. Reading helped him develop a memory of many facts.
Edward was deeply committed to his family and his faith in the Catholic Church.
He is preceded in death by his brother David, sister Mary, nephew Joshua, and niece Maryann.
A visitation to honor Edward's life will be held on Wednesday, January 10th, from 4:00 PM, followed by a
Recitation of the Rosary at 6:00 PM at Faiths Funeral Home in Madera. Mass will take place on January
11th at 12:00 PM at St. Joachims Church followed by interment at 1:00 PM at Calvary Cemetery.
