Antonio Soza Romero passed away on Tuesday May 24, 2022, he was 94yrs old. He was born in Arizona to Federico & Maria Romero. He moved to Madera CA in his teens and it was here he spent the rest of his life. He worked at Oberti Olive for 40yrs (he learned to cure/make the best olives) and as a security guard at the Bridge Store Center after his retirement. Some of his favorite pastime's  were drinking coffee all day, eating anything and everything and when he was not working, he would take any opportunity to take a nap wherever there was an empty chair. He was preceded in death by his parents, his son Tony Jr., his sister Lydia and his brother Fernando. He is survived by his wife, Inez of 71yrs just one month shy of 72, his son Ernie and his wife Teri, brother Fred 'Lico' and his wife Adela and sister-in-law Virginia. Antonio also leaves behind two granddaughters, Monica and Laurie as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on June 14, 2022 at 11:30 at St Joachim's Catholic Church in Madera.
