Adela Hernandez Macias was born in Durango Mexico on August 10 th , 1931 and passed away on
December 31 st 2022 at the age of 91. Adela first came to the US in 1951 in El Paso TX, she later relocated
to Madera, CA in 1972 with 7 of her children and 2 grandchildren. In 1978 she and her family started
their family business La Paloma Café where she served her community daily with some of the best
Mexican food in town. Adela was a very strong lady, she enjoyed cooking and serving her customers and
most importantly her family. Her favorite color was yellow, she always dressed to impress, she loved to
dance and enjoy her music; camping was favorite outing of hers.

Adela is preceded in death by her Husband Filiberto, son Bernardo and great grandson Andrew. She is
survived by her brother Bibiano, sister Socorro, and her children, Alejandro, Raquel, Leticia, Lydia, Rosa,
Martin, David along with 15 grandchildren 19 great grandchildren and 6 great great grandchildren.

Services will be held on January 20 th , 2023, at All Faiths Funeral Home 801 E. Yosemite Ave, Madera CA.

Viewing 10am – 11am (family only)
Rosary 12 pm followed by funeral service

A burial service will be held at Calvary Cemetery 28447 Ave. 14, Madera, CA.

Celebration of life will be held at 3pm at the Farm Bureau located at 1102 S. Pine St. Madera, CA; dinner

will be served.
